British Bats - Their Ecology and Conservation
Dr Christoph Meyer will give an overview of the 17 species of bats resident in the UK, their ecology, and threats faced by them. The talk will also cover common approaches to sampling bats, with a focus on the various kinds of bat detectors available to acoustically sample UK bat species.
