Talk with Richard Scott, Technical Director of the @nationalwildflowercentre covering practical aspects of wildflower seeding, establishment and management, illustrating this through case studies and providing tips and tricks to get it right. Learn about the centre’s seed bank and growing of wildflowers to generate seed harvests in Cornwall. Aspects will include soils and substrates, including omission of topsoil, seed types and quality, local provenance and species choices, the use of annuals to generate a first year display and use of 100% wildflower mixes without any grass, to mention a few.
