Changing Attitudes to Open Space: Rediscovering Streatham's Stream Garden
Dr Lee Heykoop will describe her 2018 project, involving a team of wonderful volunteers, to research the history of what became known as the Stream Garden at the Rookery, Streatham Common, in south London. The presentation will follow the genesis of Streatham Common and the Rookery, their social uses and their making and planting, including some original plant lists of the Stream Garden.
