Going native at the Oman Botanic Garden

KMIS lecture by botanist Darach Lupton, who will give a flavour of Oman’s culture, landscape and plant diversity. As Curator of the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, including NBG Kilmacurragh and the JFK Arboretum, Darach Lupton is responsible for the largest documented collection of plants in Ireland. His interests include the conservation of the flora of Ireland and Oman; ethnobotany of Oman, and the promotion of botanic gardens and horticulture as essential tools in global plant conservation.
