The conversation will focus on the collaborative work that went into the park’s construction as part of the transformation of Hudson River Park, the diverse community of visitors the park serves, and how landscape architecture and access to urban green space can create a more equitable, revitalized New York. Featuring a panel of experts who have been intimately involved with the design and running of the park, including Mat Cash of Heatherwick Studio; Robert Hammond, Co-Founder and Executive Director, the High Line; Signe Nielsen of Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects and Pratt’s School of Architecture; Trish Santini, Executive Director, Little Island.
