On the Need for New Rituals is a poetic exploration of the folkloric and ancestral wisdom enmeshed in our wild, and urban landscapes.
Drawing from a past to a speculative future, Maia Magoga foregrounds the role of ritual in the process of re-enchanting ourselves with our nonhuman kin; from the act of drinking a cup of tea, to walking amongst weeds on a roadside.
