Seedy: the world's first plant-based club night

Seedy: the world's first plant-based club night

One hour of plant/seed swop followed by one hour of music/dancing. No prior knowledge of either necessary! This event is for you if Any of the following apply:
1. You know nothing about plants/seeds/gardening/forests and would like to learn
2. You have gardened since you were three
3. You are not convinced the windowsill/dank courtyard/fire escape steps near your home could provide a wildlife habitat, let alone food/medicine, though you are curious. (It can, it can!)
4. Your ancestors had famous gardens
5. You need more hiphop/grime/dancing in your life but you don't necessarily want to go clubbing
Format
Arrive at 7pm. Intros, plant/seed swop for an hour. 8pm: we switch on the music and start dancing. To give you an idea: Little Simz, some old school (Talib Kweli, Lil Kim), Labrynth, Sampa the Great.
We have plans to have the occasional speaker at 7pm and maybe go off-piste with live (acoustic) music or a beatboxer from 8pm.
Guidelines
You don't Have to swop anything, you can bring a sack and gather or give all your objects away, it's not a hard and fast rule. If you are completely new to gardening you could also consider bringing: herbal teas, flowers you have picked (with permission!) plant-based ephemera like post cards or books.
Expect to use and learn the Latin names for plants.

Time: 19:00 BST
