Wildcrafting adventure: Consumable Art

Wildcrafting adventure: Consumable Art

A wildcrafting adventure walk discovering what you can see, eat, drink and craft with, followed by a wild tea and tasting session. Join wildcrafting artist, @wyrd_flora on a walk around @wattylercountrypark in Pitsea, Essex, to discover what lays in the hedgerow, and along the estuary waters. Look at edible and craft suitable plants from uses of wild roses, hawthorn blossoms, elderflowers, mallow, clovers.... the list goes on!
In collaboration with plant chef and fellow artist @mind.of.marley some of what you find on route will be transformed into delicious snacks for you to try in a cosy and wild setting! Wildcrafting is the practice of harvesting plants from their natural, or 'wild' habitat, for food, medicinal and crafting purposes. Join us on an adventure, discovering what we can see, eat, drink and craft with from a walk around Wat Tyler followed by a wild tea and tasting session.

Time: Sat 12 or Sun 13 15:00 BST
