This week the RHS Chelsea Flower Show debuts its first ever autumn show, so there will be plenty to see throughout the week with gardens mixing late summer blooms with russet tones of foliage. But aside from that there is still plenty going on.

On the large scale University of York will be talking about rewilding their campus, while on a smaller scale, South London Botanical Institute will be looking at the wonderful world of lichens. Time travelling, Lambeth Libraries take a journey back to the historic wood that covered South London, and Orion Magazine imagine the future through writing about the climate crisis. For hortheads, there’s planting design with the Landscape Institute and salvia open day from Plant Heritage. Catchup with Manhattan’s latest park, Little Island at Landezine, gardening in Kurdistan with Garden Masterclass, and Charles Jencks’ cosmic garden in a Serpentine Galleries talk.

All details on individual posts.
