Hello all you lovely community members! What is happening this week? So much!! Ok so we start with the return of KMIS! If you don’t know what KMIS is .. you’ve been missing out, so make sure you sign up for the inaugural one for this season (in person at the Jodrell Rooms at Kew or online) with James Wong and his Interiorscapes; Then the health benefits of plants with Adam Frost and hosted by Guardian Masterclass; Anna Tsing and her take on the environmental crisis focussing on her book the Mushroom at the End of the World; The Commons: Land, Property, Information, and Landscape Agency with Shareable; Nature Solutions for Climate-ready Cities with the RSPB; The centre of Alternative Technology take us on a journey to delivery NET ZERO; AIA Japan show us Nature in and Around Buildings; We have Plant Based and the City from NYBG; Then we get to our weekly Plant Heritage plant fix with the maybe-coming-back-into-fashion CHRYSANTHEMUMS! Then we finish on a free Philharmonia Concert at the South Bank Centre where you can glimpse astonishing terrains in works from Gabriella Smith and John Luther Adams. It sounds incredible to us!
