thehub.earth Bookclub - Gardening in a Changing World

Following feedback from you, we are creating a monthly bookclub, exploring new and old books that we think offer interesting insights into plants, gardens and landscapes, and the ways we engage with them. We will announce a title each month and you will have four weeks to read it. Then we will hold a zoom event for everyone to get together to discuss and share their experiences of the book.

Our first book will be – Gardening in a Changing World by Darryl Moore @spaceshaper, which explores our relationships to plants through gardens, and investigates new opportunities to ecologically rethink them in light of the climate and biodiversity crises.

The bookclub event will be on Thursday March 23rd at 19:00 GMT, and hosted by thehub.earth co-curators @studio_ikram& @spaceshaper (so the author will be on hand to offer insights into the book!)

If you want to join us, just send us an email using the contact sheet on our website and put Bookclub in the message. Be sure to include your email address. Then just before the date we will send you a link for the event.

We would love for you to be part of this and share suggestions for other garden/landscape/hort books that you’d like to discuss in the future.
