The HUB Insta Live - Darryl Moore - Gardening in a Changing World

The newly published book Gardening in a Changing World by thehub.earth Co-curator Darryl Moore, calls for a radical reassessment of our relationship to plants, moving beyond purely aesthetic or functional concerns to a more ecologically based engagement.

The book traces humans’ interactions with plants through gardens, environmental policy, economics, science, traditional ecological knowledge and the environmental humanities, suggesting that a more mutual and respectful relationship is essential for facing the challenges of the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.
