The Historic Character of the River Stour
An evening to understand and learn about the History and Heritage of the River Stour, which has been vitally important to people for thousands of years; even in today’s landscape there is still lots of evidence of how people used and modified the river to meet a wide range of needs. In this presentation, archaeologist Antony Firth, Director of Fjordr Ltd, will discuss recent work to understand the historic character of the River Stour and what this means for how we look after the river in future.
