Seminar Series 2021 – Healing Garden at an orphanage in Lima

This therapeutic garden seminar series with Trellis Scotland takes us to Peru to meet Daniela Silva Rodriguez Bonazzi, who founded the Peruvian Social & Horticultural Therapy Association. In April 2019 they implemented a Healing Garden at an orphanage in Lima, Peru where they offered horticultural therapy to children ages 6 to 12, who had been victims of abuse or neglect. Daniela will focus on the strategies and techniques used in these gardens, which have been found to help these children.
