International Festival of Seeds
The Seed Saving Network at OmVed gardens invites you for a day of seed swapping, seed saving, art, music and food system rebellion. Now in it’s second year, the Seed Saving Network has distributed over 1200 packets of free, organic, open-pollinated seeds to growers across the UK. They want people to grow wherever they can - in flats, allotments, window boxes, community gardens, houseboats, tower blocks - if there is space for sowing, get growing. They think that growing food and saving seed is one of the most important things we can do to promote a healthy and biodiverse planet, featuring seed savers from West Bengal to the London Freedom Seed Bank.
