Nature based solutions: soil-water connections for sustainable landscapes
This UKSoil talk will bring three experts on soil-water connections, to give us their unique perspectives on how we can understand them as a whole and support them using a sustainable approach: through nature-based solutions. Nature-based solutions refers to the sustainable management and use of nature for tackling socio-environmental challenges, such as climate change, water security, water pollution, and food security. Speakers Professor Wouter Bytaert, Lucia Madrid, Dr David Gasca Tucker, will present different perspectives on how is it possible and best to use nature-based solutions for healthy soil-water connections in different landscapes and geographical scales.
