Maggie’s at The Royal Marsden

Maggie’s at The Royal Marsden

Maggie’s at The Royal Marsden @maggiesroyalmarsden opened its doors a few weeks before the first Corona Virus lockdown in 2020, which meant that it and the Piet Oudolf designed garden around it were quiet and unseen in its first year. This year you can book in and visit with the NGS. The garden surrounding the centre designed by world-famous Dutch Landscape Architect Piet Oudolf @pietoudolf, has many different zones, some enjoying full sun and others in dappled shade, whilst the pathway from the hospital meanders under mature trees. Plant communities are carefully chosen, incl 14 different grasses, a palette of 6 hardy ferns and more than 50 different perennials.
