Madoo in Manhattan: Dr. Nigel Dunnett, FLI

Madoo in Manhattan: Dr. Nigel Dunnett, FLI

Madoo in Manhattan returns with Professor Nigel Dunnett, FLI just off his recent success with the Tower of London Superbloom in 2022. Join us for an evening with Nigel exploring the transformational power of gardens, and learn about his own creative approach, emphasizing planting design as an art-form, tuned to nature, and considering public projects as well as his own private garden. The idea of ‘the garden’ has never been more important. It’s where ideas, people and nature come together, in a safe space, interacting, mixing, meeting, mingling—creating new, surprising, unexpected energies, and different communities, at a human scale. Making, experiencing, nurturing, contributing to, learning from, participating in, being part of a garden is the ultimate and most engaging expression of the relationship between people and nature that we can have in the city. It’s a place where lives are changed.
