Plant Nurseries in England - Armstrongs Nursery of Hants
Gardens Trust have asked researchers from various parts of England to share their work on commercial nurseries large and small and those who ran them. These businesses were active mostly from the late seventeenth century to the twentieth century and were wide-ranging in the goods and services they provided. In this less-explored area of garden history these talks will illuminate all the fascinating details of the flourishing nursery trade, the customers and the plants they sold.
