Learning from the landscape of the Olympic Park - Careers in Landscape

Learning from the landscape of the Olympic Park - Careers in Landscape

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Olympics and perhaps more significantly, the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Olympic Park: by any measure, one of the most successful Olympic parks to be created in recent years, with a legacy for sport, community and landscape.
As a place for learning about landscape architecture, the park showcases not only the work that went into creating a setting for the games but also a place that has a legacy that includes housing, business innovation, education, art and culture.
For anyone considering a career in landscape architecture, the park is rich in ideas on design, management, planning beauty and stewardship.
The Landscape Institute, the professional body for the landscape architecture profession will be organising a series of guided walks around the park specifically for people who are already studying another subject or who are considering a career in landscape architecture.
Potential students will have a chance to meet current students, practitioners and lecturers using the park as a setting to understand the potential for a career in landscape. The tour will be looking at post graduate study, conversion courses and experienced routes into the profession.

Time: 17:00 BST
