Join the LI North East on this online talk with Dr Sam Bridgewater CEnv MCIEEM, Head of Wildlife and Conservation at @clinton_devon_estates The landholdings of Clinton Devon Estates cover 10,000 hectares of rural Devon, with management interests encompassing agriculture, forestry, conservation, housing, development, and renewable energy. Sam’s talk will focus on the challenges and opportunities of landscape-scale conservation management, with specific reference to: the management of the newly declared Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve; river restoration and the delivery of a climate change adaptation initiatives; the re-introduction of beavers into the River Otter catchment; improving wildlife and ecosystem service outcomes in agricultural landscapes; and embedding wildlife enhancement into business decision-making that reflects the true value of Natural Capital.
