Secret Gardens in the City of London

Secret Gardens in the City of London

This virtual tour will take you to hidden & fascinating gardens in the City. You will hear the fascinating stories of each one.
The City of London is the oldest part of London founded by Romans nearly 2000 years ago. Today it is known as a famous financial centre also called Square Mile due to its size.
If you look carefully, hidden amongst the modern high rise office buildings, there are many secret gardens, church yards and fascinating history and interesting tales. There are nearly 200 open spaces and hidden gardens of all sizes, each one with a unique character. These provide a habitat for wildlife and place for the residents and city workers to visit and enjoy.

Time: 14:00 BST
