Garden Glory

Garden Glory

A special evening revealing the captivating stories of legacy, sustainability and environmental impact behind the coveted gold medals of this year's Chelsea Flower Show main avenue gardens.
Coaxed by the ever-effervescent RHS judge and celebrated designer James Alexander-Sinclair, designers Sarah Price (Nurture Landscapes), Cleve West (Centrepoint) and Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg (Horatio’s Garden) will share the alchemic essence that brought their award-winning gardens to life while unveiling their techniques, inspirations and behind the scenes secrets. From thriving biodiverse habitats, pioneering cement-free pathways to reusing waste materials, the designers will reflect on their approaches in creating sustainable and environmentally responsible gardens with legacy destinations. Both Cleve West’s Centrepoint Garden and Harris Bugg Studio’s Horatio’s Garden were generously funded by Project Giving Back.
All speakers have also brought to life beautiful, restorative and accessible gardens for Horatio’s Garden, the UK-based charity that nurtures wellbeing after spinal injury in vibrant sanctuaries in NHS spinal centres: Cleve West (Horatio’s Garden South West in 2011); James Alexander-Sinclair (Horatio’s Garden Scotland in 2016) and Sarah Price (Horatio’s Garden Wales in 2022).
