In this KMIS talk (online & in person) Joe Whelan is Head Gardener at Nymans, a National Trust house and historic garden in West Sussex, will be taking a trip through some of the amazing plant collections at Nymans, which are of historical and global significance. As well as a look at what the garden is hoping to achieve in the future with these important living collections. He will also be exploring exciting plans for developing the biodiversity of the gardens in its many natural areas and meadows, as well as delving into some of the unique challenges that historic gardens face in relation to rising visitor numbers and climate change.
