Jimi Blake - A beautiful obsession
Self-confessed plant nerd, gardener, custodian and creator of Hunting Brook Gardens, Jimi Blake has a life-long passion for plants and gardening. Since opening in May 2002, Hunting Brook Gardens is designed to be a thoroughly immersive experience. Home to one of Ireland’s largest private collections of plants, it is famous for its exciting plants and creative planting combinations, producing a riotous display of colour, shape and texture. A restless and experimental gardener, Jimi Blake is always pushing boundaries and looking for new ideas to try and share.
In this KMIS lecture, Jimi will share his design philosophy and introduce you to the exciting plants and creative planting combinations at Hunting Brook Gardens, taking a deep dive into the plant collections through the seasons.
