Introduction to the Biodiversity Net Gain Metric 4.0 will introduce the Biodiversity Metric 4.0 and its context within Biodiversity Net Gain.
Attendees will be given a basic introduction to how to navigate a completed Metric and its outputs.
The session will also highlight checks that are likely to be made at the planning application validation stage by local planning authorities.

Learn how to open and navigate around a completed Metric and to review its outputs
Understand the assessment and review process of the Metric that will form part of a planning application once Biodiversity Net Gain is mandatory in November 2023
Have an awareness of the Metric checklist to be used at planning application validation.
