Communicating with the Non-human
Three artists will introduce their techniques of communicating with specific non-humans. European-based artists Baum & Leahy’s @baumleahy Cellumonials invites you to connect with your cohabiting microbes and understand your body as an ecosystem of constant lifecycles. Take some gut time and delve deep into the microbial cycles of your body, to connect with the invisible microscopic landscapes living within and around you. Norweign artist-engineer Daniel Slåttnes @slaattnes will present Plant Cyborgs, a project of intimate listening in which the artist seeks to understand plants. His robotic creations give plans new opportunities to communicate with us and he will discuss his practices of listening with plants. @pittofficial
