Covert Creative Writing Workshop: Self-Editing with Jessica Lee
Join Writing Our Legacy on Sunday 12th February, 11am-12:30pm for an online creative writing workshop connecting diverse writers to the landscape of the South Downs led by award winning writer and guest editor of the upcoming issue of Covert Literary Magazine, Jessica J. Lee. This workshop is part of WOL's taster workshop series for the upcoming issue of Covert magazine.
How do we know when a piece of writing is finished? Whether we’ve written an essay or a book, we need to create rituals to help us part with a text knowing we’ve done our best. In this workshop we’ll develop strategies for editing and re-imagining our work, finding new ways to carry out not just minor corrections but the big picture transformations we want to see in our writing.
