Bird Census Methods for Gardens - a 30 year study by Dave Dawson
Most census methods don’t work in gardens. Dave Dawson has studied a simple point count method in his Wimbledon Park garden. He can recommend how to count birds in such small places. The 33 years’ of results show interesting trends for many bird species.
This event is being run jointly with the Ecology and Conservation Studies Society as part of their Gardening for Wildlife series with a focus on best practice and good applied science.
