Visit to Broadward Hall Gardens - Shropshire
Broadward Hall is a Grade II listed building, being largely a 19th Century remodeling of an 18th Century Country House, with a castellated Gothic appearance. The walled garden houses the National Collection of Hemerocallis (day lilies). An important historic collection bred between 1959 and 1979 by three English breeders, Brummitt, Coe and Randall and originally collected by Gerald Sinclair. There are more than 65 cultivars, creating a wonderful display. Hosted by Plant Heritage.
