Woodshop of Recycled Delights

Woodshop of Recycled Delights

Likewise are partnering with Hackney's ' Garden of Earthly Delights' to bring you a series of workshops on how to use reclaimed timber to create beautiful garden furniture for our outside community space. These workshops, suitable for 18+. are perfect for anyone passionate about reducing waste, learning new woodworking skills, and connecting with likeminded people. No experience needed, only a willingness to get stuck in, a sturdy pair of shoes and weather appropriate clothes (we will be outside for the sessions).
As we are designing the garden space as we go, the initial sessions will concentrate more on tending to the space we currently have and familiarising ourselves with the tools we'll be using. As we go on there will be opportunity to get stuck into one of the projects, perhaps making a planter or a bench, or even designing and making your own creation.

Time: 13:00 GMT
